Terms & Conditions / Reservation Agreement
By booking transportation services with Airport Car Service San Diego (“Company”), the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Reservation Confirmation
Reservations are not guaranteed until confirmed by the Company. The Company reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
2. Cancellation Policy
Sedans and SUVs
- No charge for cancellations made more than 48 hours before scheduled pickup.
- 50% charge for cancellations made within 24–48 hours of scheduled pickup.
- 100% charge for cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled pickup.
Vans, Sprinters, Limousines, Mini Coaches and Buses
- No charge for cancellations made more than 7 days before scheduled pickup.
- 50% charge for cancellations made within 2–7 days of scheduled pickup.
- 100% charge for cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled pickup.
3. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the designated pickup location within the allotted waiting period will be considered a no-show and will result in a 100% charge.
4. Waiting Time
Airport Arrivals
- Domestic flights include 30 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
- International flights include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
Non-Airport Pickups
- A 15-minute grace period is provided.
- Additional waiting time will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.
5. Overtime Charges
Services exceeding the scheduled reservation time will be billed in additional increments at the Company’s current hourly rate.
6. Vehicle Capacity & Luggage
Vehicles may not be loaded beyond legal passenger or luggage capacity. Excess luggage may require a larger vehicle and additional charges may apply.
7. Child Safety Seats
Child safety seats may be provided upon request and additional fees may apply. Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for ensuring children are properly secured in accordance with applicable laws.
8. Damage & Cleaning Fees
The client assumes full financial responsibility for damage caused by themselves or members of their party. Charges include but are not limited to:
- Minimum cleaning fee: $300
- Burn damage: $500 per occurrence
- Excessive interior damage: actual repair costs
- Bodily fluid cleanup: minimum $300
9. Alcohol, Drugs & Conduct
Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited. The Company reserves the right to terminate service immediately without refund if any passenger:
- Becomes disruptive
- Creates a safety concern
- Engages in illegal activity
- Damages property
- Harasses the driver
10. Smoking Policy
Smoking, vaping, and use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all Company vehicles. A minimum cleaning fee of $350 may be assessed for violations.
11. Mechanical Failure
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the Company’s liability shall be limited to arranging replacement transportation when reasonably available or refunding the unused portion of service. The Company shall not be liable for consequential damages, missed flights, missed appointments, or other indirect losses.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- Traffic accidents
- Road closures
- Severe weather
- Airport disruptions
- Government actions
- Civil unrest
- Natural disasters
13. Personal Property
The Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property left in any vehicle.
14. Payment Authorization
By providing a credit card, the client authorizes the Company to charge all applicable fees associated with the reservation, including:
- Transportation charges
- Overtime charges
- Waiting time charges
- Toll charges
- Parking charges
- Cleaning fees
- Damage charges
15. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of a deposit, submission of payment information, acceptance of a quote, or use of transportation services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
